Cancellation & Modification Policy

1. Overview
This Cancellation & Modification Policy explains when you can cancel or change an order placed with hintsylee and how to submit a request.
Because orders are processed quickly after they are placed, there is a limited time window during which changes are possible. This Policy should be read together with our Shipping Policy, Return Policy, Refund Policy, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.
2. When You Can Cancel Your Order
2.1 Before Order Processing Begins
If you contact us shortly after placing your order and it has not yet entered processing (for example, it has not been picked, packed, or prepared for shipment), we may be able to cancel the order in full.
If cancellation is approved, your payment will be refunded in line with our Refund Policy.
2.2 During Processing (Before Shipping)
Once your order has entered processing, cancellation may no longer be possible.
In limited cases and at our discretion, we may:

Cancel all or part of the order; and/or

Offer a partial refund or store credit, depending on how far the order has progressed.
2.3 After Your Order Has Shipped
After your order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
At this stage, any request will be handled under our Return Policy and Refund Policy, if the order or item is eligible.
3. Modifying Your Order
You may request changes shortly after placing your order. We cannot guarantee that modifications will be possible once the order has entered processing or shipping preparation.
3.1 Product Details (Size, Color, Variant, etc.)
Requests to change size, color, or product variant must be made as soon as possible after ordering.

If the order has not yet entered processing, we will try to update the details.

If the order is already being processed, changes are normally not possible and may require placing a new order.
3.2 Quantity Changes

Adding items: If you wish to add items, we recommend placing a new order. If your original order is still processing, we may be able to combine shipment, but this is not guaranteed.

Removing items: If the items have not yet entered processing, we may be able to remove them and adjust the order amount accordingly.
3.3 Shipping Address Changes
If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us immediately.

Address changes can only be made before the order has shipped.

Once the order has shipped, we cannot guarantee any address change, redirection, or interception. In that situation, you may need to contact the carrier directly.
4. How to Request a Cancellation or Modification
To request a cancellation or modification, please email our customer service team as soon as possible:

Include the following details in your message:

Your full name and the email used for the order

Your order ID or order number

A clear description of the change you would like to make (cancel order, change item, adjust size or color, change quantity, update address, etc.)
We will review your request and inform you whether the cancellation or modification is still possible, based on the current status of your order in our system.
5. Discount Codes and Price Adjustments

Discount codes and promotions must be applied at the time of checkout.

If you forget to apply a code, please contact us quickly. If your order has not yet entered processing, we may, at our discretion, apply the discount manually. This is not guaranteed.

We do not routinely offer price adjustments or refunds if an item is discounted or goes on sale after you have placed your order.
6. Orders We May Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel an order in situations including, but not limited to:

Suspected fraud, unauthorized payment, or high-risk transactions

Incorrect pricing or product information due to typographical or system errors

Inability to fulfill the order due to stock, supply, or logistics issues

Orders that violate our Terms of Service or applicable laws
If we cancel your order, we will notify you by email and issue a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.
